First Tractor Parade!!

So my dad decided to get all the tractors out this summer and have a tractor parade. We weren't really sure what he was thinking, but we went with it. As the tractors were pulled out, each of the guys jumped on one and everything fell into place. We have had a lot of fun together as a family, but we can probably all agree, this day was one of the best in a while. Many memories were made and it will probably become a yearly thing.

It was neat to see H driving Grandpa's baby!

C feeling like big stuff!

Uncle Floyd and Aunt Ruth enjoyed the show too!

Oh, good times! Grandma never got the memo...she couldn't figure out how to be crazy!

We have been truly blessed by God throughout our whole family. We are so thankful for the many blessings He has given to us! We have a family like none other!

Catching up Once again...

WOW...time passes so quickly...I remember the last time I posted, I said I would do better. Well that hasn't happened! I guess when you have a full time job and two little kids to chase around, you just don't stay caught up like you would like. I guess that is me!  So anyways...the kids are doing great!

Summer flew by like always...here were some of the highlights!

We took a trip to the north- the great fishing state of Minnesota! This was Oliver's first trip to our favorite place and the first time in the boat. Sadly, we didn't take the boat out at all last summer. He wasn't so sure about it at first, but one fast ride and he was hooked! The ride always started with him saying, "GO DAD GO! He loved to see the fish, but wasn't quite sure about doing it himself. He became so comfortable in the boat, that he took most of his naps in the front seat with momma singing Jesus Loves Me. I bet we sang it about 100 times during the week. By the end, he was singing parts of it with me.

ignore the date- my mom's camera was messed up :)

He loves to ride on daddy's shoulders.

Even if there is no fish, you can always count on great sunsets!

Notice Oliver- waiting for Hannah to bring in the big one!

first time getting in

so sweet! They really were meant to be! So blessed!

she hauled in the biggest ones as usual!

Fishing with his Daddy

Oliver spent most of his time on the side of the pool during the week. I finally forced him in the last day and he loved it.

He loved squirting everyone, including himself many times!

Finally!

Our first Drive-in movie was a big hit!! We were not quite sure how Oliver and Hannah would do, but we were willing to take the chance. The movie started around 9:45 and they both did great! We brought our own popcorn and some candy, but the funnel fries were the big hit of the night! If you never have gone, make it a family night next summer! Wabash Drive-in- it was $5 per person and kids 12 and under were free! Throwback Thursdays were $5 per car! It was a great time!

And of course, you cannot have summer without a few trips to the beach. We visited the Washington Park Beach on Lake Michigan a few times and then settled for Winona Lake beach on other days. So thankful for friends that love the beach as much as we do!

Hannah's makes new friends so quickly!

another new friend

This group worked so well together to dig a huge trench! Guess who was
in charge most of the time- yep, you got it- Hannah! We had some good
laughs during the time! Thankful for the Stabler Krewe!
